My name is Christian Newlands. I'm a director, producer,  writer, editor, and the founder of Oceanside Visuals LLC.

I picked up a camera in 2017 and set out to learn as much as I could about photography. Months later, I found myself constantly wanting to make video, so I decided to put all my time and energy into learning video in my spare time. When I wasn't learning or practicing, I was working another job, producing and mixing music for others, as well as booking as many photoshoots as I could.

Throughout 2017-2019, I maintained a healthy lifestyle and pursued Personal Training. In Summer 2019 I took my training to the next level by filming my training style and promoted it with my video production skills. It wasn't until Fall 2019 when an old colleague introduced me to Comedian DJ Pryor, 2018s viral babbling baby video & Google's 2019 Father Of The Year. He and his team needed a videographer.

From there, I worked alongside DJ Pryor and his team, planning, shooting & editing his stand up comedy, speaking engagement events, interviews and promotional social media content.

Since then, having countless projects, bookings and events in many different avenues, I started a production company with one goal in mind:
 
To focus on something that was very important to  me- Impact work. From there, I decided I would commit my company to focusing on impact documentary work.

No matter what we do, you can call us small, you can call us big, but you can't stop the work we put out.
